The Family Behind the Business

Let me introduce myself, My name is Adam Hambleton and I’m married to a wonderful woman by the name of Samantha. We have four beautiful children, Marlee, Jaxton, Everlee, and Charlie. Marlee is in middle school at Haywood Christian Academy. Jaxton is in first grade at Johnathan Valley Elementary.  Everlee and Charlie keep us hoping at home.

Our family feels privileged to live and raise our children in beautiful Western North Carolina. Additionally, we are blessed to have found a wonderful church community at New Covenant Church in Clyde.  I serve there as a children’s pastor.

WNC Washing & Staining was created for several major reasons. I wanted to invest my time and energy into a career I thoroughly loved. While attending Haywood Community College, I always enjoyed refinishing furniture on the side. Seeing the transformation of a project motivates me, but seeing someone’s reaction to a finished project brings me true joy. I decided to turn my love into a business.

I received a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University in May of 2014 while running my first business, Hambleton Services, Inc. a landscaping company (you can check that out here https://hambletonservices.com/) It was quite a stretch to manage both at the same time, but I succeeded and both are flourishing today.

I have learned many things about running a business and have developed core values I constantly work to instill. I tell my teams to under promise and over deliver. We also make sure that we are presentable and treat our customers with utmost respect.

Faith Family and community are at the core of all I do. My business goals focus on making life better and easier for my employees and my customers. When folks are happy with their homes, they’re happier with their lives.
